About the BibleBox

The BibleBox is a cheap, portable wireless device to share digital Bibles and other Christian resources to users of wifi enabled phones, tablets and laptops. The mission is to enable more people to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and be transformed by Him.

There is no internet connection required.  Simply connect your wifi device to the BibleBox files SSID and open your web browser.  The BibleBox then provides you with a website providing access to the shared files stored on the BibleBox USB drive.

Users accessing files on the BibleBox are not able to access the internet, as there is no connection other than the wifi link to the BibleBox.  No user information is required or stored on the BibleBox.

It simply provides a free wifi network to enable access to the shared files. This makes the BibleBox ideal for sharing files privately and securely. No login is required, no interaction with anyone is required.  Simply connect to the BibleBox wifi and access the shared files from your device.BibleBox icon

The BibleBox was conceived by Campbell Smythe and would not have been possible without the foundations of the opensource code behind Piratebox and Librarybox developed by David Darts, Jason Griffey and Matthias Strubel. This is the first version of the BibleBox and development continues. Look up The BibleBox http://BibleBox.org to support the BibleBox Project with prayer or comments!
